For the past two years, Cold, cold heart have been working (slowly) on the follow up to their acclaimed debut album and return with an EP, entitled Arch, in May. With time and focus spent on the development of their sound, the result transports the listener through life itself, representing the roaming adventure towards happiness and contentment.

Entwined with this narrative, the integration of a string quartet and modular synthesizers have bolstered the grandeur, leaving the listener captivated by their sonic exposition. Recorded in Surbiton and West Sussex across 2016 and 2017, the four-track EP displays a developed sense of control and restraint in their work, while still resonating between a multitude of jarring places.

Arch is released on May 17. Click here to pre-order.
